How do I clean my Island Coasters?
Over time, should spills occur (coffee, tea, soft drinks), you should place the coaster face down in a pyrex or glass dish of two parts water and one part Clorox bleach, keeping the cork backing out of the solution. Soak ten minutes. RINSE THROUGHLY. Tip on edge to air dry both sides.

DO NOT put your coasters in the dishwasher or use soaps to clean your coasters as soaps and detergents will leave residues which clog the coasters absorption. DO NOT use abrasive cleaners as these may remove some surface color.

Should someone get aluminum can marks on your coasters (Aluminum is a very soft metal and will act much like a pencil), use soft scrub and a soft toothbrush to gently work marks away.

How long will my Island Coasters last?
They will last for generations if you follow the simple steps for care and cleaning.

Why are Island Coasters so absorbant?
After eighteen months of experimentation I developed a special blend of four different earthenware clays for strength, durability, and absorbancy. Each coaster will hold a quarter of a cup of water.

Are Island Coasters available for sale in my store?
We do wholesale to certain shops, however due to the handcrafted nature of Island Coasters only a limited amount can be created yearly.
